Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 200 gms roasted almonds
  2. 150 boiled almonds skinless (for this boil the water and put the almonds in it for 30 seconds. Keep it for 2 minutes, then remove the skin. Don't throw the skin, dry it and store in a bottle and use it for facepacks after grinding.)
  3. 100 gms khoya
  4. 150 gms sugar
  5. 1 cup milk
  6. 4 elaichis
  7. Pistas for decoration

Instructions

  1. Firstly in a grinder, grind the roasted almonds. It should be in tiny pieces, approximately 0.5 cms. Then keep it aside.
  2. Grind the boiled almonds, directly grind it on full. This will also be in pieces but not fully powdered.
  3. Take a heavy bottomed vessel, put in ghee and elaichi, then put in the roasted almonds. By this time put in the boiled almond in hot milk and keep it.
  4. Saute the roasted almonds till it becomes golden brownish in colour.
  5. Put the milk and boil almonds in the roasted ones, be careful while putting it. Go on mixing it till it leaves the sides of the pan.
  6. Put in sugar and stir till the sugar dissolves and the sugar water is dried up. Put in khoya and keep it till the ghee comes on the sides.
  7. Garnish it with pista and serve it hot with vanilla ice cream.
