Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 medium ripe mango -170 gms
  2. Sugar - 130 gms
  3. Clove - 2
  4. Pepper - 2
  5. Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
  6. Elaichi powder - 1/4 tsp
  7. Ghee - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Freeze mangoes for 10 mins. Peel the mangoes. Slice 1 mango into pieces and extract pulp from the second mango
  2. Place sliced mangoes in ice cold water and refrigerate for 10 mins.
  3. Mix pulp, mango pieces, sugar and remaining ingredients in thick bottom vessel.
  4. Cook the mixture over low - medium flame gently stirring occasionally
  5. Cook till sugar syrup reaches 1 string consistency
  6. Cool and store in sterilized glass container.
