Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For gatta
  2. ½ cup Gram Flour
  3. ¼ spoon salt
  4. 1 spoon refined oil
  5. ⅛ spoon cumin seeds
  6. Water as per requirement
  7. For Kadhi
  8. 150 gram curd
  9. 2 spoon gram flour
  10. ½ spoon salt
  11. ¼ spoon turmeric powder
  12. 1 spoon dried fenugreek leaves
  13. Water as per requirement
  14. For tempering
  15. 2 spoon oil
  16. ¼ spoon mustard seeds
  17. 1 pinch asfoetida
  18. 1 Dry red chilli
  19. ⅛ spoon red chilli powder

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients of gatta except water
  2. Make a hard dough with water
  3. Smoothen the dough by applying oil on it
  4. Roll into thin and long
  5. Put gatta on boiling water
  6. Cover and boil for 5 minutes on low flame
  7. Take out in plate and cut in 1" size
  8. Mix all ingredients of kadhi and blend with blender
  9. Make a watery batter
  10. Heat oil in a wok
  11. Add dry red chilli, mustard seeds and asfoetida
  12. Add chilli powder and kadhi batter
  13. Cook on medium flame for 10 minutes on medium flame
  14. Stir continuously
  15. Add boiled gatta and stir for 2 more minutes
  16. Switch off the flame
  17. Gatta kadhi is ready
