ABOUT Makhane ka Raita RECIPE

Healthy Lotus seed Raita that can be served with raita.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. one and half cup fresh yoghurt
  2. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  3. pinch of black salt
  4. Pinch of red chilli powder
  5. 1 cup Makhana roasted
  6. 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
  7. 4 - 5 tablespoons of chilled water

Instructions

  1. In a pan dry roast the Makhana for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. take them in a plate and let them cool.
  3. in a large bowl take the yoghurt and whisk it nicely.
  4. To this yoghurt add salt, black salt, coriander and red chilly powder.
  5. mix well and add 3 tablespoons of water.
  6. Do not add too much water.
  7. Add the Makhana just before serving.
  8. Serve the raita chilled.
