ABOUT SOYA KEEMA DOSA RECIPE

Soya keema dosa is a good option for vegetarians and at the same time it is healthy too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dosa batter ........ 2 cups
  2. Soya granules ... 1/2 cup
  3. Onions ............ 1 large (finely sliced)
  4. Tomato ..... 1
  5. Green chillies .. 1
  6. Garlic paste ... 1 tsp
  7. Ginger paste ... 1 tsp
  8. Coriander leaves .. handful
  9. Turmeric powder .. 1/4 tsp
  10. Coriander powder ... 1 tsp
  11. Cumin powder ... 1/2 tsp
  12. Red chilli powder ... 1/4 tsp (optional)
  13. Salt .............. to taste
  14. Oil .............. as needed
  15. Podi .................. 2 tbsps

Instructions

  1. Soak the soya granules for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a pressure cooker, heat oil and saute the ginger garlic paste. Add the chopped onions and fry until light brown.
  3. Now add the tomatoes, green chilies.
  4. Next add the drained soya granules.
  5. Saute until the water dries up. Add salt and dry spice powders and a little water and keep stirring. Continue to bhuno this way until you get a nice brown colour.
  6. Add half cup water and close the cooker. Cook for 3-4 whistles. Keep it dry.
  7. Take the fermented dosa batter.
  8. Spread a ladle of batter to make dosa.
  9. Flip the side and spread the prepared soya keema on it. Sprinkle some podi if you like. Serve hot.
