ABOUT Spicy Chole RECIPE

Everybody loves chole, with either bhature or with poori, so here is a recipe of delicious chatpate chole.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled kabuli chole 100gms
  2. Chopped onion 1
  3. Chopped garlic 1teaspoon
  4. Chopped tomato 1medium
  5. Jeera powder 1teaspoon
  6. Kashmiri lal mirch 1/2 teaspoon
  7. sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Haldi powder 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Garam Masala Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Besan 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Chat masala 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Chopped green chillies as per taste
  13. salt as per taste
  14. Oil 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and add sugar. Wait till it chars
  2. Add chopped garlic and stir fry
  3. Put in chopped onion and fry well till it turns brown.
  4. Add salt and Kashmiri lal mirch
  5. Add tomatoes and green chillies and saute
  6. When the gravy turns soft, add Haldi and mix well.
  7. Add jeera powder and mix well. Cover the pan and simmer
  8. Sprinkle water and cover till the masala leaves the oil
  9. Put in the boiled chana and besan
  10. Mix well on high flame
  11. When gravy starts getting dry, add 1/2 cup water and mix well.
  12. Add garam masala powder and cover with lid
  13. Simmer till 5-6 minutes
  14. Sprinkle chat masala
  15. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  16. Serve hot
