ABOUT Spicy Punjabi Chole RECIPE

A different way of making chole which can be served with rice too.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 200 gms kabuli chana
  2. 3 medium size onion
  3. 3 tomatoes medium size
  4. 4-5 cloves garlic
  5. 2 BLACK CARDAMOM
  6. 2 pcs cinnamon
  7. 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  8. 2 tsp coriander powder
  9. 2 tsp chole masala
  10. oil 2 tbsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Corriander leaves to garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the chana overnight and boil in pressure cooker with blk cardamom and cinnamon, salt .
  2. 2. In a pan add oil, add paste of onion and garlic.
  3. 3. Add Kashmiri chilli powder and saute on low flame till the onions are done.
  4. 4. Add tomato puree and keep stirring on low flame.
  5. 5. Add coriander powder, chole masala and mix well.
  6. 6. Add the boiled chole and mix and boil on low flame for 10-15 minutes.
  7. 7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
