ABOUT Paav bhaji RECIPE

Paav bhaji is all kids all time favorite recipe also of mothers for soft breads being served with nutritious mix veg curry.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Finely chopped onions 1 cup
  2. Finely chopped tomatoes 2 cups
  3. Bottle guard 1 medium sized
  4. Cauliflower 1
  5. Carrot 2
  6. Oil 1 tbsp
  7. Butter 1/2 cup
  8. Salt 1+1/2 tesp
  9. Paav bhaji masala powder 2 tbsp
  10. Paav buns

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop bottle guard, cauliflower and carrot.
  2. Give three whistle with half cup of water and 1 tesp salt.
  3. In a wok heat oil and 2 tbsp butter. Add onions and roast till golden.
  4. Add tomatoes and 1/2 tesp salt. Cook till masala starts leaving oil.
  5. Add Pav bhaji masala dissolved in 2 tbsp of water.
  6. Mash the boiled vegetables nicely using potato masher or back of ladle.
  7. Add mashed vegetables to cooked masala.
  8. Cook on low for about 15 more minutes with 2 tbsp butter. Stirring occasionally.
  9. Cut Pav buns in half and butter them. Roast on both sides on a pan/ griddle.
  10. Serve roasted pavs with mix veg curry topped with butte and onion slices. .
