ABOUT Veggie crisp balls RECIPE

A tasty snack made with colourfull vegetables. Crisp on the outside and soft within will definitely be loved by all kids just like mine. Do try it.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Carrot - 1/2 cup grated
  2. Capsicum - 1 (yellow + green) chopped finely
  3. potato - 2 boiled
  4. french beans-1/4 cup finely chopped
  5. coriander-1/4 cup finely chopped
  6. Spices :
  7. Red chilli powder-1 tsp
  8. Amchoor powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Chat masala - 1/2 tsp
  10. Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. For binding:
  13. Bread crumbs - 3/4 cup
  14. For coating :
  15. Maida - 2 tsps
  16. Cornflour - 2 tsps
  17. Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  18. Water
  19. Bread crumbs - 3/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Take all chopped Veggies in a bowl.
  2. Add bread crumbs and coriander
  3. Add all the spices.
  4. Add salt to taste and mix nicely
  5. Make round lemon sized balls
  6. Can freeze covering with cling wrap to fry later
  7. Keep oil to fry
  8. Add black pepper and required water to maida and cornflour to make a slurry
  9. Spread bread crumbs on a plate
  10. Coat veg ball by dipping in the slurry first
  11. Then roll on a plate of bread crumbs
  12. Fry in hot oil
  13. Strain on tissue paper. Serve alongwith some tomatoe sauce
