ABOUT Crisp Onion Kurmura Balls RECIPE

In rainy season generally onion pakodas are made in Indian families . This time i have made onion and puffed rice ball and deep fried. It tasted awesome.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Kurmura (Puffed rice) 1 cup
  2. Onion 1 big size finely chopped
  3. Coriander leaves( chopped ) 4 tablespoon
  4. Mint leaves (chopped ) 2 tablespoon
  5. Green chilly 1 chopped
  6. Ginger garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Gram flour 1 tablespoon
  8. Rice flour 1 tablespoon
  9. Red chilly powder 1/2 Teaspoon
  10. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Chat masala 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
  13. Salt to taste
  14. oil to deep fry balls

Instructions

  1. Take kurmura, chopped onion, coriander leaves, mint leaves, gram flour, rice flour in a deep bowl.
  2. Add chopped green chilly, spinkle salt , red chilly powder , chat masala, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt.
  3. Add lemon juice and 1 to 2 tablespoon water.
  4. mix well and make ball by tightly binding the mixture.
  5. deep fry in hot oil till brown and crisp.
  6. Transfer it on to kitchen napkin .
  7. serve hot with ketchup .
