  1. 3 chopped Medium size Brinjal
  2. 15-20 Shallots or 2 Onion
  3. Tomato medium 2
  4. Green chillies 3
  5. 1/2 Cup Moong dal
  6. Amla size Tamarind soaked to get extract
  7. Turmeric
  8. Salt
  9. Curry leaves
  10. Coriander leaves
  11. To temper
  12. Sesame Oil
  13. Mustard
  14. Jeera 1 tsp
  15. Channa dal 1 tsp
  16. Urad dal 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. ADD OIL IN KADAI. ADD MUSTARD. WHEN IT CRACKS, ADD 1 TSP JEERA, CHANNA AND URAD DAL
  2. ADD 15-20 CHOPPED SHALLOTS AND 3 FRESH CHILLIES
  3. WHEN THE ONION TURNS TRANSLUCENT, ADD CURRY LEAVES AND BRINJAL CUBES
  4. SAUTE TILL BRINJAL TURNS SOFT
  5. ADD 2 CHOPPED TOMATO
  6. ADD TAMARIND JUICE EXTRACTED FROM AMLA SIZE TAMARIND AND 1/2 TSP TURMERIC
  7. ADD 1/2 CUP WASHED MOONG DAL AND SALT
  8. ADD PINCH OF HING AND 3-4 CUPS OF WATER
  9. ADD HANDFUL OF CORIANDER LEAVES. PRESSURE COOK FOR 5 WHISTLES
  10. WHEN PRESSURE RELEASES NATURALLY, MIX WELL
