  1. For Spice Powder
  2. Channa dal 2 tbsp
  3. coriander seeds 2 tbsp
  4. urad dal 1 tbsp
  5. Methi 1/2 tsp
  6. Cumin 1/2 tsp
  7. Pepper 1/2 tsp
  8. Hing 1/2 tsp
  9. Red chillies 7
  10. Coconut grated optional
  11. Sesame Oil or Coconut oil 1 tsp
  12. Vegetables
  13. Carrot 1
  14. Beans 5
  15. Cluster beans 5
  16. Brinjal 1
  17. Capsicum 1
  18. Chow chow 1 small
  19. Raw banana 1
  20. Sweet Pumpkin small piece
  21. White Pumpkin small piece
  22. Potato 1
  23. Sweet potato 1
  24. Colacasia 1
  25. Yam small piece
  26. Drumstick 1
  27. Field beans mochai 1/4 cup
  28. Peas optional
  29. Green chillies 2
  30. Tomato 2
  31. Coriander leaves
  32. For Kootu
  33. Tamarind lemon size
  34. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  35. Salt 2 tsp
  36. Tuvr dal 1/2 cup
  37. For Seasoning
  38. Oil / Ghee 1 tbsp
  39. Mustard
  40. Cumin
  41. Methi
  42. Red chilli 1
  43. curry leaves
  44. Hing

Instructions

  1. SOAK LEMON SIZE TAMARIND
  2. PRESSURE COOK 1/2 CUP TUVR DAL AND 2 TOMATOES
  3. FOR SPICE POWDER, TAKE 2 TBSP CORIANDER SEEDS
  4. TAKE 2 TBSP CHANNA DAL, 1 TBSP URAD DAL, 1/2 TSP PEPPER, METHI, JEERA AND 7 RED CHILLIES
  5. ADD 1 TSP OIL, HING AND ROAST CORIANDER SEEDS, CHANNA, URAD DAL, PEPPER, CUMIN, METHI AND RED CHILLIES
  6. COOL THE MIXTURE. ADD THEM TO BLENDER. MAKE A FINE POWDER
  7. CHOP CARROT, BEANS, CLUSTER BEANS, CAPSICUM, PUMPKIN SWEET AND WHITE, BRINJAL, CHOW CHOW, POTATO, SWEET POTATO, COLACASIA, YAM, RAW BANANA, DRUMSTICKS
  8. ADD OIL IN PRESSURE COOKER. ADD CHOPPED VEGETABLES
  9. ADD CHOPPED VEGETABLES
  10. ADD CHOPPED VEGETABLES
  11. ADD CHOPPED VEGETABLES
  12. ADD FIELD BEANS, PEAS AND 2 GREEN CHILLIES
  13. SAUTE VEGETABLES. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER AND TAMARIND EXTRACT
  14. ADD SPICE POWDER. MIX
  15. ADD 2 TSP SALT AND PRESSURE COOK FOR 3 WHISTLES
  16. ADD COOKED DAL AND SEASONING
  17. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES AND MIX. TURN OFF THE FLAME WHEN FROTHY LAYER IS FORMED
