Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1.5 cup leftover cooked rice
  2. 3/4 cup besan
  3. 1tsp Ajwain
  4. 3/4 tsp turmeric
  5. 1.5 tsp red chilly powder
  6. 3/4 tsp hing
  7. 4tbsp hot oil
  8. Salt
  9. 1tsp water
  10. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. ADD 1 TSP WATER & GRIND 1.5 CUPS LEFTOVER RICE
  2. THE RICE PASTE SHOULD BE LUMPFREE
  3. ADD 3/4 CUP GRAM FLOUR, SALT & THE DRY MASALAS
  4. MAKE A SMALL WELL IN THE CENTRE, ADD 4 TBSP HOT OIL
  5. MIX & COOL
  6. KNEAD INTO A DOUGH
  7. GREASE A SEV MOULD WITH OIL, ADD GROUND RICE MIX
  8. PRESS IN THE BATTER INTO HOT OIL
  9. DEEP FRY ON HIGH HEAT TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  10. COOL, STORE IN AN AIR TIGHT JAR
