ABOUT Sweet Rice (From Leftover Rice) RECIPE

When there is leftover rice in my kitchen, I always use to make innovative Recipe from Rice. So today I have make Sweet rice recipe. This one is my innovative dish. It is very delicious and aromatic due to the combination of Sugar, Dry fruits and Indian Spices. It is very easy to make.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. A) For Sweet Rice
  2. 2 bowl Cooked leftover rice
  3. 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  4. 1 Cinnamon stick
  5. 6-7 cardamom seeds
  6. 2 tbsp fennel seeds
  7. 1/4 tbsp saffron
  8. Pinch of yellow color
  9. 1 cup powderd sugar
  10. 1 cup slivered almonds
  11. 1/2 cup Raisins
  12. Some drop of rose essence
  13. B) for garnishing
  14. 1 tbsp Butter
  15. 1/4 cup sliced dry coconut
  16. 1/4 cup pistachio
  17. 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Take a pan.
  2. Heat butter into it.
  3. Once butter is melted add the cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and fennel seeds.
  4. Saute it.
  5. Also add sliced Almonds and raisins.
  6. Stir this ingredients well.
  7. Now add Saffron and sugar.
  8. Add some drop of Rose essence.
  9. Add little water if require.
  10. Once sugar is melted add cooked rice into it.
  11. Mix it well.
  12. Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes. (Until water burns)
  13. Now turn off the flame.
  14. Take the cooked rice into a serving plate.
  15. Now take another pan and heat some butter.
  16. Add sliced coconut slice almond and Pistachio.
  17. Stir it.
  18. Add more saffron if require.
  19. Toast all the ingredients a little.
  20. After that turn off the flame.
  21. Now at this topping to the rice dish.
  22. Serve hot and enjoy it with any kind of curry.
