  1. Tamarind lemon size
  2. Capsicum red, green and yellow 1
  3. Onion 1 sliced
  4. Tomato 1
  5. Salt
  6. For masala gravy
  7. Onion 2 / Shallots 8
  8. Tomato 1
  9. Garlic 3-5
  10. Coconut
  11. For masala powder
  12. Coriander seeds 1.5 tbsp
  13. Channa dal 1.5 tbsp
  14. urad dal 1 tbsp
  15. Methi 1/2 tsp
  16. jeera 1/2 tsp
  17. Pepper 1 tsp
  18. Red chillies 5
  19. For Seasoning
  20. oil
  21. Mustard
  22. Red Chillies 2
  23. curry leaves
  24. Coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. SOAK LEMON SIZE TAMARIND FOR 15 MINUTES
  2. TAKE 1.5 TBSP CHANNA DAL, CORIANDER SEEDS, 1 TBSP URAD DAL, 1 TSP PEPPER, 0.5 TSP METHI, JEERA AND 5 RED CHILLIES
  3. CHOP 2 ONIONS, 1 TOMATO AND 5 GARLIC CLOVES
  4. ADD OIL. ROAST DRY SPICES TILL YOU GET GOOD AROMA. SET ASIDE
  5. ROAST ONION AND GARLIC
  6. ADD CHOPPED TOMATOES AND FRY FOR 2 MINUTES
  7. COOL THE MASALA
  8. ADD COCONUT AND MASALA IN BLENDER AND GRIND TO SMOOTH PASTE
  9. ADD OIL. ADD MUSTARD.WHEN IT CRACKS ADD SLICED ONION
  10. ADD CAPSICUM. SAUTE
  11. ADD 2 RED CHILLIES AND CURRY LEAVES. SAUTE
  12. ADD CHOPPED TOMATO AND SALT
  13. ADD TAMARIND EXTRACT
  14. ADD GROUND MASALA PASTE
  15. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES. BOIL FOR 5-10 MINS ON MEDIUM FLAME
