ABOUT Vegetarian Lollipops RECIPE

Goodness of veggies for all our little ones and fussy eaters. This dish is surely decieving as it looks like chicken but is vouched to taste equally good. This dish is a peefect party snack too. For all the mommies, it is atleast a one time try.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For lollipops:
  2. 3/4 cup shredded paneer
  3. 2 boiled and mashed potatoes
  4. 1/3 cup shredded cabbage
  5. 1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
  6. 1 tbsp red chilly paste
  7. Juice of half a lemon
  8. Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 1 tbsp cornflour
  11. Few bread sticks
  12. For the coating :
  13. 1/2 cup refined flour
  14. 1/2 cup cornflour
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  17. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  18. Water as required
  19. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. MIX 3/4 CUP SHREDDED COTTAGE CHEESE, 1/4 CUP EACH OF CABBAGE & CARROTS
  2. ADD 2 BOILED, MASHED POTATOES
  3. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 1 TSP LEMON JUICE
  4. ADD 1 TSP GINGER- GARLIC PASTE, 1/2 TSP GROUND PEPPER
  5. ADD 1 TBSP EACH OF RED CHILLI PASTE & CORNFLOUR, MIX & SET ASIDE
  6. MIX 1/2 CUP FLOUR, 1 TBSP RED CHILLI PASTE, 1/2 TSP PEPPER
  7. ADD 1/2 CUP CORNFLOUR, SALT TO TASTE, ADD SOME WATER
  8. MIX INTO A SMOOTH BATTER
  9. TAKE A BREAD STICK, COAT PART OF IT WITH THE PREPARED LOLLIPOP MIXTURE
  10. PREPARE THE LOLLIPOPS, KEEP ASIDE
  11. COAT THE LOLLIPOPS WITH THE READY BATTER, DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  12. FRY TILL GILDEN BROWN & CRISP
  13. SERVE HOT
