ABOUT Healthy Banana Walnut Cake RECIPE

This is a healthy cake made from a combination of fruit,grain and omega 3 rich olive oil.Guiltfree cake.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Wheat flour-1 &1/2 cups
  2. Ripe Bananas-4
  3. Sugar-1 /2 cup
  4. Olive oil-2/3 cup
  5. Salt-1 pinch
  6. Baking powder-1 teaspoon
  7. Baking soda-1/2 teaspoon
  8. Vanilla extract-1 teaspoon
  9. Walnuts-10-12 halved pieces
  10. Chocp chips-1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. MASH 4 RIPE BANANAS
  2. ADD 1/2 CUP SUGAR, 2/3 CUP OLIVE OIL
  3. ADD 1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE, BLEND TILL SUGAR DISSOLVES
  4. SIEVE 1.5 CUPS WHEAT FLOUR, 1 TSP BAKING POWDER, 1/2 TSP BAKING SODA
  5. ADD THE BANANA MIX
  6. FOLD, ADD 1-2 TSP WATER TO MAKE A SMOOTH BATTER
  7. ADD 8-10 WALNUTS
  8. POUR BATTER INTO A GREASED CAKE TIN, TOP WITH SOME WALNUTS
  9. SPRINKLE SOME CHOCOCHIPS
  10. BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 DEGREES FOR 30-35 MINS
  11. After 35 minutes cake will be ready.Check with toothpick.
  12. After it cools down slightly,remould the cake.Cut into pieces and serve.
