ABOUT Rice Ladoos RECIPE

It is the easiest laddu that can be prepared with ease. In tamil nadu rice flour, jaggery and ghee mixed together in a specific proportion to make Maavilakku or Rice diyas are offered to God. It is derived from the recipe with the addition of dry fruits, Peanuts, Coconut and honey. It tastes so good. Usually rice flour, jaggery, ghee and grated coconut is made in heaven combination.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Raw Rice Flour 1/2 Cup
  2. Jaggery 1 tbsp
  3. Honey 1 tbsp
  4. Ghee 3 tbsp
  5. Chopped Cashews 2 tbsp
  6. Raisins 1 tbsp
  7. Pumpkin seeds 2 tbsp
  8. Badam 2 tbsp
  9. Coconut bits 2 tbsp
  10. Peanuts 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. ADD RICE FLOUR, JAGGERY AND CARDAMON POWDER IN BLENDER
  2. BLEND THE MIXTURE WELL
  3. HEAT GHEE IN A PAN. ROAST COCONUT
  4. ROAST DRY FRUITS AND PEANUTS
  5. ADD ROASTED MIX TO RICE MIXTURE. MIX WELL
  6. ADD HOT GHEE. MIX WELL
  7. ADD 1 TBSP HONEY. MIX WELL
  8. SHAPE LADUS FROM MIXTURE. STORE IN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER
