Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Oil 2 tbsp
  2. Garlic 4-5, minced
  3. Green chili 1 , finely chopped
  4. 150 g Spring onions chopped
  5. Tomato 1 chopped
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  8. Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Potatoes 2 chopped
  11. Water as required
  12. 4 tbsp chopped Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. ASSEMBLE ALL INGREDIENTS
  2. HEAT OIL IN A KADAI
  3. ADD CRUSHED GARLIC AND CHOPPED GREEN CHILIES
  4. ADD WHITE PART OF SPRING ONION BULBS , SAUTE UNTIL ONIONS ARE TRANSLUCENT
  5. ADD TOMATOES AND SAUTE UNTIL TENDER
  6. ADD LITTLE SALT AND MIX WELL
  7. ADD SPICE POWDERS AND MIX WELL
  8. ADD LITTLE WATER AND COOK THE MASALAS PROPERLY
  9. ADD DICED POTATOES AND STIR
  10. COVER AND COOK FOR 5-7 MINUTES OR UNTIL POTATOES ARE TENDER
  11. ADD SPRING ONION GREENS AND MIX
  12. STIR WELL AND COOK FOR 4-5 MINUTES
  13. GARNISH WITH FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES
  14. SERVE HOT WITH PHULKAS OR RICE
