Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup moong dal
  2. 1 cup Rice
  3. 1 cup Chana dal
  4. Curry leaves 5-6
  5. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  6. 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  7. 2 tsp oil
  8. 1 Sachet eno fruit salt
  9. 1 cup Yellow Mogar Dal
  10. 1 Tsp ginger and green chili paste
  11. Salt to taste
  12. 1 cup Masoor Dal
  13. 1 cup Toor Dal
  14. 4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. SOAK RICE AND DALS OVERNIGHT. DRAIN EXCESS WATER. ADD MIXTURE TO GRINDER WITH 2 GREEN CHILIES, 1 INCH GINGER
  2. GRIND TO A SMOOTH PASTE
  3. ADD SALT , 1 ENO SACHET AND MIX WELL
  4. PLACE A RING IN A COOKER WITH A GREASED PLATE ON TOP
  5. POUR THE BATTER AND SPREAD EVENLY OVER GREASED PLATE. COVER AND COOK FOR 15-20 MINS WITHOUT WHISTLE
  6. REMOVE, COOL DHOKLAS COMPLETELY, CUT INTO SQUARES
  7. HEAT 3 TBSP OIL IN A PAN.SPLUTTER 1 TBSP MUSTARD, 1 TSP CUMIN, 1 TBSP SESAME SEEDS, 5-6 CURRY LEAVES
  8. ADD DHOKLAS AND TOSS WELL. SPRINKLE 1.5 TBSP LEMON JUICE ON TOP
  9. MIX AND SERVE WITH GREEN CHUTNEY
