ABOUT Khaman dhokla RECIPE

Khaman is a gujrati famous dish. Its a tea time snack we can take it in brunch also. With very homey ingredients we can make it and serve to our family.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Besan 2 cups
  2. Suji 2 tablespoon
  3. Sugar for batter 2 tablespoon
  4. Fruitsalt ENO 2 tablespoon
  5. Salt for batter 1 teaspoon
  6. Haldi powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Water 2 cups
  8. Lemon juice 2 tablespoon
  9. Mustard seed 1 tablespoon
  10. oil 2 tablespoon
  11. green chilli sliced 2
  12. Curry leaves 4 to 5
  13. Sugar for tadka 4 tablespoon
  14. Salt for tadka 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take up vessel and add besan Suji and sugar and mix it well and then make a whole between it and slightly by adding water just make a batter
  2. Now add lemon juice salt and haldi powder and mix it well and leave it for 20 minutes by covering it with a flat plate
  3. After 20 minutes mix well and add Eno and then Sprinkle some little water when the bubbles form just mix it with the spatula
  4. In a Kadai add water and perforated plate and for 5 minute just heat it up
  5. Now take a Thali and add the batter into it and just type it so the air Bubbles will disappear
  6. Put the Thali into the Kadai and cook for 20 minutes
  7. Natekar Tadka Pan and then add oil into it after the all heated add mustard and just wait to cook
  8. After that add green chilli and curry leaves togheter and cook for 5 minutes
  9. Nowbadd water, sugar, and salt and cookit till the boil comes.
  10. Dhokla and tadka is ready put the water into dhokla and then cut into your desired shaped and serve.
