  1. Channa dal 3 tbsp
  2. Urad dal 3 tbsp
  3. Dry red chillies 5
  4. Salt
  5. oil
  6. Mustard for seasoning
  7. curry leaves
  8. Hing
  9. Brinjal 500gms

Instructions

  1. ADD OIL, CHANNA DAL, URAL DAL AND HING. FRY THEM UNTILL IT IS GOLDEN BROWN. ADD RED CHILLIES
  2. ALLOW THE MIXTURE TO COOL. GRIND TO FINE POWDER
  3. ADD OIL. ONCE IT IS HOT. ADD MUSTARD. WHEN IT CRACKS ADD CURRY LEAVES
  4. ADD SLICED BRINJAL AND SAUTE WELL
  5. ADD TURMERIC AND SALT
  6. SPRINKLE WATER AND CLOSE A LID TO COOK
  7. ONCE BRINJALS ARE COOKED ADD THE CURRY POWDER.MIX GENTLY
  8. SERVE WITH VARIETY RICE
