Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Water 1/2 cup
  2. sugar 1 cup
  3. Cornflour 1/2 cup
  4. cardamom powder 1 tsp
  5. Slivered mixed nuts 1/2 cup
  6. Ghee 3 tbsp
  7. Orange food colour 2 drops

Instructions

  1. MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS INCLUDING 2 TABLESPOONS OF GHEE AND MICROWAVE ON POWER HIGH FOR 3 MINUTES AT FIRST. RESERVE 1 TABLESPOON OF GHEE FOR FRYING THE NUTS.
  2. I HAVE USED A 1250 WATT MICROWAVE. SO THE TIMINGS MIGHT VARY A LITTLE IF YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT ONE. KEEP AN EYE ACCORDINGLY. IT MEANS YOU MAY HAVE TO MICROWAVE IT FOR 5 TIMES.
  3. MICROWAVE IT FOR ATLEAST 4 TIMES FOR 2 MINUTES AND MIX IT WELL TO AVOID ANY LUMPS AFTER EACH SESSION. REMOVE IT AND MIX IT WELL AND THEN POP IT BACK IN THE MICROWAVE FOR 4 CONSECUTIVE TIMES.
  4. AFTER 4 TIMES OF MICROWAVING, IT LOOKS LIKE THIS.
  5. FINALLY FRY THE SLIVERED NUTS IN A TABLESPOON OF GHEE AND ADD IT TO THE MIX.
  6. TAKE IT OUT ON A GREASED PLATE AND GIVE IT A STANDING TIME OF 30 TO 40 MINUTES AND THEN SLICE IT INTO ANY SHAPE YOU LIKE.
  7. BON APPETIT !!!!!! SERVE IT RIGHT AWAY OR ENJOY IT CHILLED. IT'S ALL UPTO YOU.
