Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Sabudana 2/3 cup
  2. 2 medium sized Potatoes
  3. 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  4. 4 tbsp roasted peanut powder
  5. 1 inch ginger
  6. 4 Tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  7. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  8. 1 tbsp sugar
  9. Rock Salt 1 tbsp or as required
  10. Oil and ghee as required for frying

Instructions

  1. TAKE 2/3 CUP SABUDANA,ADD IT TO A BOWL,ADD ENOUGH WATER AND SOAK FOR OVERNIGHT
  2. TAKE 1/4 CUP PEANUTS,FRY WELL
  3. TAKE IN A MIXER JAR
  4. MAKE IT INTO A FINE POWDER
  5. TAKE 1 INCH GINGER
  6. REMOVE THE SKIN
  7. CHOP IT FINELY
  8. TAKE CORIANDER
  9. CHOP IT FINELY
  10. TAKE 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
  11. TAKE GHEE, PEANUT POWDER 4 TBSP,CUMIN POWDER 1/2 TSP,1 TBSP ROCK SALT,SUGAR 1 TBSP,
  12. ADD 2 POTATOES TO A PRESSURE COOKER AND COOK FOR 3-4 WHISTLES
  13. AFTER COOKING REMOVE SKIN OF POTATOES AND PRESS WITH FINGERS
  14. MAKE IT INTO A FINE PASTE
  15. ADD DRAINED SABUDANA TO BOWL,ADD GINGER AND CORIANDER ALSO
  16. ADD ALL THE SPICES TO IT
  17. ADD LEMON JUICE,MIX
  18. AFTER MIXING WELL,MAKE AS ROUND BALLS
  19. TAKE A COVER ,APPLY OIL TO IT ADD THE BALL ONE BY ONE TO IT
  20. FLATTEN IT BY YOUR FINGERS
  21. TAKE NON STICK FRYING PAN HEAT IT .SPREAD 1 OR 2 TBSP GHEE ON IT
  22. PLACE THE FLATTENED ROUND (THALIPEETH) ON THE FRYING PAN
  23. FRY TILL BOTH THE SIDES ARE GOLDEN BROWN AND CRISP,APPLY GHEE ON THE OTHER SIDE ALSO
  24. Sabudana thalipeeth is ready to serve
