Sabudana thalipeeth is a breakfast or evening snack recipe and ideal for who are fasting. You can make sabudana vadas or sabudana thalipeeth from the same mixture. I want to avoid deep frying sabudana vadas, so I prepared this Thalipeeth.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Sabudana ½ cup
  2. Potato 2, boiled and mashed
  3. Arrowroot / rajgira flour 2 tbsp
  4. Green chillies 5 strips
  5. Salt 1 tsp
  6. Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  7. Olive oil 2 tbsp
  8. Coriander leaves ¼ cup
  9. Peanuts, dry roasted and coarse paste 2 tbsp
  10. Red chilli powder 1 tbsp.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix all ingredients sabudana(soaked in water 4 to 5 hours) potato, rajgira flour, salt green chillies paste, salt, cumin seeds, peanuts paste and add water to make soft dough.
  2. Now divide dough into equal portions and take a ball of dough and spread it into a thin circle on a ziploc bag or any plastic sheet
  3. Grease tawa with oil and heat it, now transfer the prepared thalipeeth gently to the tawa, and drizzle oil around the thalipeeth.
  4. Cook on medium heat until it start browning, flip it over to the other side and cook both sides well until golden brown.
  5. Here, healthy, tasty and crispy shaboo thalipeeth is ready to serve, serve hot with curd or any chutney of your choice.
