  1. 3 chopped potatoes
  2. 2 Sliced Ridge Gourds (Jhinge)
  3. 1 sliced onion
  4. 2 green chillies
  5. 3 table spoon popy seed paste
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Vegetable oil 3 table spoon
  8. Water 1 cup

Instructions

  1. INGREDIENTS:3CHOPPED POTATOES,2SLICED RIDGE GOURDS,3TBSP POPYSEED PASTE,ONION,GREEN CHILLY,OIL,WATER
  2. AT FIRST PRESSURE COOK THE CHOPPED POTATOES WITH 1/2 CUP WATER. WAIT FOR 2 WHISTLES.
  3. HEAT 3 TABLE SPOON VEGETABLE OIL IN A KADAI.
  4. FRY THE SLICED ONION&CHILLY. SPRINKLE SALT.ADD CHOPPED RIDGE GOURD,IT RELEASES WATER.WAIT FOR10 MIN
  5. STIR WELL.ADD THE BOILED POTATOES.
  6. STIR FOR ANOTHER 3 MINS.ADD 3 TABLE SPOON POPY SEED PASTE.
  7. NOW ADD 1/2 CUP WATER.BOIL FOR 5 MINS IN LOW FLAME, ALSO ADD SALT TO TASTE.
  8. STIR OCCASIONALLY.NOW JHINGE ALU POSTO (POTATO WITH RIDGE GOURD IN POPY SEEDPASTE) IS READY TO SERVE
