Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1/2 cup chana dal
  2. urad dal - 1/4 th cup
  3. moong dal - 1/4 th cup
  4. tuvar dal - 1/4 th cup
  5. ground nuts - 2 tbsp
  6. 1 glass rice
  7. 1 tsp ghee
  8. 1/2 tsp haldi [turmeric powder]
  9. 1/2 cup chopped potatoes
  10. tomatoes, [chopped] - 1/4 th cup
  11. Carrots [chopped] - 1/4 th cup
  12. mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  13. Jeera [cumin seeds] - 1 tsp
  14. CHILIES - 2
  15. GINGER GARLIC PASTE - 1 TSP

Instructions

  1. 1/2 CUP TUVAR DAL,CHANA DAL, URAD DAL,MOONGDALL,GROUND NUTS,1 GLASS RICE,4 CHILI SLICES,1/2 CUP CHOPPED TOMATO,CARROT
  2. TAKE A BIG BOWL PUT RICE,THEN ADD THE DALS.
  3. MIX WELL.
  4. ADD WATER FOR SOAKING UPTO 1 HOUR
  5. AFTER 1 HOUR KEEP COOKER ON FLAME .ADD GHEE ,PUT MUSTARD,JEERA
  6. THEN ADD CHILIES, GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  7. FRI WELL THEN ADD 1/2 CUP DICED POTATOES,CARROT
  8. THEN ADD TOMATOES
  9. FOR FLAVOUR ADD HALDI,SALT
  10. AFTER ADD SOAKED PUNCH RATAN RICE
  11. FRI FOR 1 MINPOUR WATER LIKE 1:3
  12. MIX WELL RICE, DAL AND ALL IT HELPS GIVE GOOD TASTE BECOMES VERY SOFT
  13. SERVE THE KHICDHI WITH SOME CURD.
