ABOUT Groundnut Rice RECIPE

Groundnut rice is my innovative recipe, it is good in taste with distinctive flavour. It is very simple and healthy breakfast, even snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Ghee 1/2 tbs
  2. Cinnamon stick 1 inch
  3. Cinnamon cloves 3
  4. Star anise 1/2
  5. Crushed pepper 1/2 tsp
  6. Cardamom 1/2 tsp
  7. Groundnut 1 cup
  8. Crushed ginger 1 tsp
  9. Bhasmati rice 1 cup
  10. Cashew nuts few
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Water 3 cups
  13. Raisins few

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1/2 TBS GHEE
  2. ADD STAR ANISE, CINNAMON STICK, CINNAMON CLOVES
  3. CARDAMOM, CRUSHED PEPPER EACH 1/2 TSP
  4. GROUNDNUT 1 CUP
  5. CRUSHED GINGER 1 TSP, FRY TILL GOOD AROMA
  6. ADD WASHED, HALF AN HOUR SOAKED BHASMATI RICE 1 CUP
  7. CASHEW NUTS
  8. SALT TO TASTE
  9. ADD 3 CUPS OF WATER
  10. FEW RAISINS
  11. COVER THE LID AND COOK FOR 1 WHISTLE IN HIGH FLAME AND ANOTHER IN LOW FLAME
  12. AFTER COOL OPEN THE LID
  13. MIX WELL AND SERVE
