  1. Apple 1/2
  2. Wheat flour 1/2 cup
  3. Water 1/4 cup
  4. Buttermilk 1/2 cup
  5. Baking soda 1/8 tsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Sugar 3/4 cup
  8. Water 3/4 cup
  9. Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  10. Saffron threads a pinch
  11. Cooking oil

Instructions

  1. BUTTERMILK 1/2 CUP, WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR 1/2 CUP
  2. SALT TO TASTE, BAKING SODA 1/8 TSP
  3. MIX WELL
  4. ADD 1/4 CUP OF WATER, STIR AND MIX TO AVOID LUMPS
  5. AFTER WELL MIX COVER A LID AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 10 MINUTES
  6. HEAT WATER, SUGAR, CARDAMOM POWDER
  7. STIR AND BRING IT TO BOIL
  8. BOIL TILL YOU GET ONE THREAD SUGAR SYRUP
  9. SQUEEZE LEMON JUICE 1 TSP, TAKE OFF FLAME, KEEP ASIDE
  10. REMOVE PEEL AND CHOP APPLE IN CIRCLE SHAPE
  11. HEAT ENOUGH OIL
  12. DIP APPLE IN THICK BATTER, COAT WELL
  13. DEEP FRY IN LOW FLAME
  14. FLIP AND FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  15. CHECK BOTH THE SIDES, REMOVE ON KITCHEN TOWEL
  16. ADD A PINCH OF SAFFRON IN SUGAR SYRUP
  17. DIP FRIED APPLE, COAT SUGAR SYRUP, REMOVE AND SERVE TASTY MALPUA
