ABOUT Amaranthus Curry (Thotakura or Rajgira) RECIPE

A must curry for post delivery ladies.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Amaranthus 2 cups
  2. Garlic, Ginger,Green Chillies 1 tsp
  3. Urad Dal 1 tsp
  4. Chana Dal 1 tsp
  5. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  6. Jeera 1/2 tsp
  7. Hing and turmeric 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash Amaranthus thoroughly.
  2. Chop it roughly
  3. Chop Garlic, Ginger and Green Chilli
  4. Fry the seasoning in sim flame with 2 spoons oil.
  5. Add chopped Amaranthus reduce flame mix welk and put lid.
  6. After 10 minutes check leaf reduced to 1/4 and no water in it.
  7. Transfer to serving bowl serve with hot Brown Rice and ghee.
  8. Amaranthus high in natural sodium no need added sodium chloride Table salt. Best alternate salt for high BP people.
