ABOUT Green Peas Poori RECIPE

This is a different healthy colourful version of poori from mom's kitchen.No need of any side dish for this as it has all in it and tastes great !

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour -2 cup
  2. Fresh Green peas-1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Green chilli-2
  5. Bombay Rava -2 tablespoon
  6. Coriander powder-1/2 teaspoon
  7. Jeera powder-1/4 teaspoon
  8. Sugar-1/4 teaspoon
  9. Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
  10. Coriander leaves handful
  11. Ghee -1 tablespoon
  12. oil -for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook green peas with half cup of water for about five minutes.Drain the water ,allow it to cool and grind it into smooth paste in mixie along with green chillies without adding water.
  2. In a bowl add wheat flour, green peas paste,salt ,rava ,ghee , coriander powder, jeera powder, sugar,turmeric powder, coriander leaves and knead to form a stiff dough. Add little water if required while kneading
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into poori using rolling pin
  4. Heat oil in kadai and deep fry them
