Sharing my Mom's Shinni recipe which is a traditional Bengali prasad made for Satyanarayan Puja.. this recipe brings back memories of my childhood
Deliciously amazing.
In a clean bowl add the flour.
Add sugar and bananas to it and mash them.
Add milk to it to form a smooth soft paste.
Add the crushed coconut and mix them well.
Now transfer the mixture in a clean bowl or a Puja thali.
Add raisins and chashew nuts on top.
Finally sprinkle with some grated coconut.
Traditional Bengali Shinni is ready to be served.
