ABOUT Coconut barfi RECIPE

It is very simple and used coconut and sugar are the main ingredients.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 cup fresh grated coconut
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 3 tsp ghee
  5. Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy bottomed pan add sugar and water, let it melts.
  2. When sugar syrup comes one thread consistency add coconut, cardamom powder.
  3. Give a good mix in low flame.
  4. Mix till it starts separating the sides and bottom of the pan.
  5. Add ghee 2 tsp, mix well for 2 more minutes.
  6. Grease 1 tsp ghee to to a plate.
  7. Transfer into a plate, press and set.
  8. Cut in desired shape when it's still in hot.
  9. Serve.
