My favorite from my mom's treasure, a yummy side dish to be served with rice or roti.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw Mango....500 gramms
  2. Cumin seed...1/4 tea spoon
  3. Garam masala...1/4 tea spoon
  4. Red chilly powder...1/4 tea spoon or so
  5. Whole red chilly...2
  6. Jaggery or sugar...50 gramms
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Cumin seed ...

Instructions

  1. Roast raw.mangoes on open flame till charred on all sides
  2. Put these in cold water
  3. Peel and you will have this sort of mangoes
  4. In a woke, heat oil and add cumin seeds and whole red chilly, Allow it to splutter
  5. Now add mangoes, 2 cups of water with salt, garam masala and red chilly powder. Let it.cook for five minutes
  6. Now add jaggery or sugar, whatever using and cook till required consistency
  7. Quantity of water can be adjusted as per requirements
  8. Your sabji is ready to consume
