Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 4-5 medium sized raw mangoes
  2. 2 tbsp methi seeds
  3. 1 Whole Garlic
  4. 4 tbsp mustard oil
  5. 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  6. 1 tbsp saunf
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  9. 4-5 tbsp sugar
  10. 1 tbsp red chili powder
  11. 1 tbsp dry coriander powder
  12. 1 tbsp deggi Mirch powder
  13. 1/2 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut mangoes in small pieces.
  2. In a cooker, Add mango, methi seeds with little water. Mix well. Pressure cook for one whistle.
  3. Drain all water once cooled. Keep it aside
  4. Heat oil in kadahi. Splutter jeera and add hing
  5. Now add crushed garlic and saute until aromatic
  6. In a bowl, add water ,spices and salt. mix well
  7. Now add this mixture to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes
  8. When mixture becomes little thick, add boiled mangoes mixture and mix
  9. Add sugar and mix well
  10. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes stirring occasionally
  11. Serve with Roti ,paratha or rice. This remains fresh for a month when refrigerated
