Pineapple sauce3 Tablespoon
For making pineapple sauce :
Pineapple 1/2 chopped in small pieces
Sugar 1/4 cup
Vinegar 1 tsp
Paneer / cottage cheese 200 Gram
Onion Finely Chopped 1 small
Garlic chopped 4
Capsicum small chopped finely
Sweet chili sauce3 Tablespoon
Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
Red chili flakes1 Teaspoon
Salt to taste
Cornflour 3 tablespoons
Water as required
Cooking oil 2 tablespoon
Spring onions to garnish
Instructions
First make pineapple sauce :
For that cut 1/2 of pineapple into small pieces
Grind it along with some water to fine paste
Strain it and reserve the residue
Take a pan. Put pineapple juice into it and bring it to rolling boil.
Add 2 tsp of pineapple residue to it
Next add 1/4 cup or less or more sugar to it
Add 1 tsp vinegar to it
Boil it till sugar melts.
Pineapple Sauce is ready. Keep it aside.
In a small bowl, place cornflour, add water and mix thoroughly.
In a pan, heat oil, dip each paneer piece in the cornflour mixture and gently slide into the pan cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
Remove and keep aside
In a wok heat oil. Add finely chopped onions and garlic.
Next add chopped capsicum
Saute till they are light brown.
Add in the pineapple sauce, chili sauce and soy sauce, stir fry for 2 minutes.
Season with salt and red chili flakes.
pour the remaining Cornflour mix into the pan, simmer for few minutes.
Add in shallow fried paneer pieces and toss properly
Place it on a plate and garnish with spring onions
Serve warm.
