ABOUT Pineapple Malpua in Rose Water Syrup RECIPE

Malpua is a pancake served as a dessert or a snack, popular in India and Bangladesh. It is a very popular dish of Odisha and is also served to Lord Jagannath of Puri in his Sakala Dhupa (morning food served to the lord). I have used pineaaple to give it flavor of fruit also.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. All Purpose Flour 4 tbsp
  2. Semolina 2 tbsp
  3. Baking Powder a pinch
  4. Pineapple puree 3/4 cup
  5. Water 1/2 cup or less depending upon consistency
  6. Sugar 1/2 cup or depending upon sweetness you like
  7. For Syrup:::::----
  8. Water 4 tbsp
  9. Rose petals
  10. Sugar 8 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take 4 tbsp of All Purpose Flour in a bowl
  2. Add 2 tbsp of Sooji in it
  3. Add Baking Powder
  4. Add Pineapple Puree and Water to it
  5. mix well and the batter is ready
  6. take 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and Pour half a ladle into it. and cook till golden from both sides.
