ABOUT Mangai Pachadi - Sweet sour mango chutney RECIPE

This is the main dish of the Tamil New Year feast, which was celebrated on 14th April. The new year heralds a new season, the transition from spring to summer and what better way to celebrate it than using these crisp, fresh, tangy raw mangoes. This dish symbolizes harmony since it has all the flavours ...sweet, salt, sour, spicy and bitter all rolled into one.
