ABOUT Mango vanilla panna cotta RECIPE

Panna Cotta is traditional Italian dessert that is creamy, and has consistency of jelly. It’s creamy and rich, smooth and velvety down to the last spoonful.  This layered mango vanilla pannacotta is one easy dessert, which is an absolute pleasure to eat! It is a great no bake dessert for summer. The tartness of the mango balances perfectly with the smooth and sweet panna cotta.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For Mango layer-
  2. Mango 2-3
  3. Agar agar - 5gm
  4. Sugar - 1/2cup or as per the taste
  5. For Vanilla Layer -
  6. Cream 1 cup
  7. Milk 3/4cup
  8. Sugar 1/2cup or according to taste
  9. Vanilla essence 1tsp
  10. Agar agar 5gm

Instructions

  1. For mango layer-
  2. Take agar agar in a bowl, add little water and soak for 15 mins.
  3. Now cook on low heat till it is melted. Switch off.
  4. Now take mango pulps in a blender, add in sugar and puree it.
  5. Add agar agar mix in and puree again.
  6. Pour this into moulds and put it in freezer for 30 mins to 1 hour till set.
  7. For Vanilla Layer-
  8. Take agar agar in a bowl, add little water and let them soak for 15 mins. Cook them on low heat till it is melted.
  9. Take cream, milk, sugar in a sauce pan and cook for a while.
  10. Switch off and add in vanilla and agar agar mix. Mix well.
  11. Pour this over the mango layer and let it set in fridge for 3 to 4 hours.
  12. For unmoulding, dip the mould in hot water and unmould or serve as it is.
