Mango panna cota recipe is chilled and delicious mango dessert with mango puree and heavy cream with vanilla extract

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1. For mango puree
  2. a) 4 medium mangoes ( peeled and pitted )
  3. b) 1 cup mango juice
  4. c) 1 teaspoon gelatin
  5. 2. For panna cotta
  6. a) 1 1/2 cup whole milk
  7. b) 1/3 cup sugar
  8. c) 2 tsp powdered gelatin
  9. d) 1/2 teaspoon salt
  10. e) 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  11. f) 1/4 vanilla extract
  12. 3. For Topping
  13. a) 1/4 cup diced mango
  14. b) few mint leaves

Instructions

  1. For Mango Puree
  2. 1. Add mango flesh to a blender and puree until smooth
  3. 2. In a small bowl add mango juice and sprinkle gelatin on top
  4. 3. Wait 5 minutes for gelatin to soften and then mix
  5. 4.microwave on high for 1 minute and stir again
  6. 5. Set glasses on an angle in a Muffin tin
  7. 6. Mix together the mango juice and puree
  8. 7. Pour into glasses to a curv half
  9. 8. Chill in position at least 2 hours to set
  10. For panna cotta
  11. 1. In a medium sized saucepan add milk and powdered gelatin and wait 10 minutes
  12. 2. Raise heat to medium, add sugar and stir several minutes to dissolve
  13. 3. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in the cream, vanilla and salt
  14. 4. Once at room temperature pour into the glasses enough to cover mango
  15. 5. Chill for 2 hours until set
  16. 6. Top with diced mangoes and mint leaves
  17. 7. Serve chilled
