Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour 2 Cup
  2. Salt according to taste
  3. Ajwain -1/2 tea spoon
  4. Oil/ghee -for moyan
  5. Ghee- 2 tea spoon for tempering
  6. Baking powder-1/2 tea spoon
  7. Chana daal- 1/2 cup
  8. Urad daal-1/4 cup
  9. Hing- a pinch
  10. Jeera -1 tea spoon
  11. Red chilli powder-1 tea spoon
  12. Turmeric powder -1 tea spoon
  13. Lemon juice- 2 tea spoon
  14. Boiled potato-1 big size
  15. Boiled peas- 1/2 cup
  16. Dhaniya powder- 1 tea spoon
  17. Amchur powder- 1/2 tea spoon
  18. Chat masala -1/2 tea spoon

Instructions

  1. Take wheat flour, salt, ajwain, oil(keep 1 tea spoon aside for vegetable) mix it.
  2. Knead tight dough using water.
  3. Keep aside for 20 minutes.
  4. Now take both daal .
  5. Wash and soak for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Take daal in cooker.
  7. Add salt, half the turmeric powder .
  8. Add water accordingly.
  9. Take 4-5 whistles on medium flame.
  10. Now tempering for daal:
  11. Take ghee in pan, heat it.
  12. Add half of hing, jeera, red chilli powder.
  13. Pour this to daal.
  14. Add lemon juice
  15. Daal is ready
  16. Make vegetable
  17. Take oil in wok . Heat it.
  18. Add hing jeera,
  19. Now add boiled potato and peas.
  20. Add all spices.
  21. Stir well. And turn off the gas.
  22. Cool the vegetable and mess it
  23. Now take dough
  24. Make small balls
  25. Roll it little.
  26. Stuff with vegetable and give round shape
  27. Now preheat the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes according to size of baati.
  28. Stuff baati is ready
  29. Serve baati with daal.
