ABOUT Rajasthani khoba roti RECIPE

Being Rajasthani we make this roti twice or thrice a week,it taste yum with dal rice and Sabzi,leftover roti we can have with a cup of tea,curd on next day too,this is made up of whole wheat flour,I add malai and ghee moin which makes roti soft and tasty

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups of whole wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cup of malai
  3. salt to taste
  4. 2tsp of ghee
  5. water to bind dough
  6. ghee to apply on roti

Instructions

  1. add salt to whole wheat flour
  2. add malai
  3. add 2tsp of ghee
  4. mix everything with fingers
  5. now add water and bind the dough
  6. dough should be little hard
  7. now make a big ball like of dough
  8. there should be no cracks
  9. roll it with the help of rolling pin
  10. place tawa on low flame
  11. switch roti on hot tawa
  12. prick with knife
  13. shake roti after 1-2 minutes
  14. flip roti
  15. make pinch all over the roti
  16. when it turns golden from other side flip
  17. keep flame low
  18. after ten to 15 minutes roti will turn golden
  19. remove from tawa and apply ghee
  20. serve with dal,curd and Sabzi
