ABOUT Exotica Sweet Chilli Basa RECIPE

Succullent Basa cooked in Sweet chilli exotica sauce is my creation which is a mix of red garlic sauce and exotica sweet chilli sauce.Aunthentic chinese gravy with basa makes a great meal with rice.I used the sauces as tge base nd only some green /spring onion for flavour.Spiced with some schezwan garlic sauce,and given some sweet taste with sweet chilli sauce,this Fish gravy a way ahead in taste for sure.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 pieces Bone less Basa Fish fillets
  2. 1 big tomato grated
  3. 5-6 Garlic Pods
  4. 3-4 Whole red chillies
  5. 1 tblspn Vinegar
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 tspn corn flour
  8. 2 tblspn sweet chilli sauce (exotica sauces brand I used)
  9. 2 tblspn oil
  10. 1tspn ginger garlic paste

Instructions

  1. Wash basa ,marinade salt & 1tspn ginger garlic paste,corriander,and some red chilli powder
  2. Keep tomato grated ready too
  3. Grind 3 pods garlic with the whole red chillies and salt
  4. Add vinegar and corn flour to this chilli garlic mix making a slurry
  5. Add heat 2 tblspn oil in a pan, a grated tomato to saute
  6. Add the chilli garlic sauce prepared, to it
  7. Now add 2 tblspn sweet chilli sauce and Basa marinaded to this tomato gravy
  8. Cook for 8-10minutes
  9. The gravy starts thickening with little corn flour added
  10. Serve hot with steamed rice
