ABOUT Arabian Chicken Shawarma RECIPE

Yummilicious Arabian shawarma with marinated chicken and chopped onion tomatoes taste heavenly.

Ingredients Serving: 4

For marinate chicken :
Boneless chicken - 500 grams
Curd - 4 tablespoons
Chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
Pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Cardamom Powder - 1 teaspoon
Olive Oil - 2 tablespoon
Salt - to taste
For garlic sauce :
Curd - 1 cup
Garlic - 10 pods
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Salt - to taste
Pepper powder - to taste
For pita bread roti :
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Activated yeast - 1 teaspoon
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
oil - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

Combine wheat flour activated yeast salt sugar and olive oil in a large mixing bowl.
Knead well into a soft dough and keep it closed in a bowl closed for 2 hours.
Puff out the air by pressing the knead and divide into equal sized balls.
Flatten the balls into rotis.
Heat the tawa and place the roti one by one.
When some bubbles form on one side turn out to the other side.
Take out from the tawa when both the sides cooked well.
Marinate the chicken with curd pepper powder chilli powder ginger garlic paste cardamon powder olive oil and salt.
Make the garlic sauce by simply combine curd chopped garlic lemon juice pepper powder and salt.
Heat oil in a tawa and stir fry the marinated chicken.
Spread garlic sauce in pita roti and place chicken pieces with some chopped onions and tomatoes.
Roll the pita rotis into shawarma and enjoy its every bites.
