ABOUT Basil and beetroot cutlets RECIPE

Beetroots are very healthy and are rich in antioxidants, this is a delicious snack made with this and basil leaves.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup grated beetroot
  2. 1 cup purpose flour
  3. 1 tsp baking soda
  4. 1 tsp pepper
  5. 1 tsp salt
  6. 1 cumin seeds
  7. 1 cup basil leaves chopped
  8. Oil as Needed
  9. 1 egg
  10. Half cup milk
  11. 2 tsp milk

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add beetroot grated, purpose flour,egg, baking soda,milk, pepper, mix all these together and knead a dough.
  2. Now roll this dough and cut doughnut shapes, using a cookie cutter. Deep fry these in hot oil and strain them.
  3. Now heat another pan with some butter, add cumin seeds. Once they splutter and then add the chopped basil leaves. Add salt and pepper powder. stir and and then add the doughnuts, Mix and serve with chutney.
