ABOUT OPOS Methi Malai Chicken RECIPE

This is a OPOS (One Pot One Shot) recipe. This recipe is inspired by OPOS Chef channel.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boneless chicken 300 g
  2. 1/2 cup chopped fresh methi (fenugreek) OR 1.5 tbsp kasuri methi (dry fenugreek)
  3. 1 tsp ginger paste
  4. 1 tsp garlic paste
  5. 1/2 tsp salt
  6. 1/4 tsp garam masala
  7. 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  8. 1 tbsp oil
  9. 1 green chili
  10. 1/4 cup cream
  11. Boiling water as desired

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with salt, pepper, ginger-garlic paste.
  2. In a 2 Litre pressure cooker, add the oil.
  3. Add the marinated chicken as the next layer.
  4. Add the chili, fenugreek and masala. Ensure the dry ingredients do not touch the base or sides of the pressure cooker.
  5. Cook on high for 3 whistles or 6 minutes, whichever is earlier.
  6. Open once the pressure settles. Add the cream. Add the water to adjust consistency. Leave the water out for a thicker, creamier curry.
