I have learnt this tasty dish from my friend and here is the recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chicken-1 bowl
  2. Butter-1
  3. Thick yogurt-1 bowl
  4. Grounded masala: Cumin seed-1 tsp
  5. Whole red chillies- 2
  6. Garlic-3
  7. Homemade garam masala-1 and 1/2 tsp
  8. Ginger-1 inch
  9. Pepper corns- 1/2 tsp
  10. Coriander seed-1 tsp
  11. Tomatoes-2 medium sized
  12. A pinch of red color
  13. Kasuri Methi-2 tsp
  14. Coriander leaves-2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take a wok, heat butter then add the chicken and fry for 4 mins. After this time, remove the chicken and set it aside.
  2. In the same butter, add the grounded masala (cumin, coriander, red chillies, pepper corns, garlic, ginger and grind it without water). Add this masala and saute, then add the chopped tomatoes, salt and saute well till the tomatoes are cooked.
  3. Next, add the chicken, thick yoghurt, garam masla powder, kasuri methi and cook.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot with paranthas or butter naan.
