ABOUT Chessy corn pocket RECIPE

A delicious and cheesy snacks to be served with some tea in the evening.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Maida - 1 cup
  2. salt as per taste
  3. Water [as required]
  4. Sweet corn frozen/fresh - 1/2 cup
  5. Cheese [grated] - 1/4 th cup
  6. Grated carrot - 1
  7. Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
  8. Oil for fry

Instructions

  1. Knead a semi soft dough using, maida, salt and water. Leave it to rest for 20 minutes.
  2. Mix grated carrot, corn, grated cheese, salt and black pepper powder, in a mixing bowl.
  3. Now take a ball of maida dough and roll it into a thin roti. Stuff the stuffing inside and fold from the ends to form an envelope or closed pocket.
  4. Deep fry these in hot oil and serve with some ketchup on the side.
