Set aside for 5 minutes. Heat oil. Mix well the batter and pour spoonful of batter into hot oil in whole pan at different places. Fry from both sides. Remove it on a kitchen towel. Make dumplings from all batter in same process.
Your methi fritters are ready to serve. Serve with green chutney and tamrind chutney.
