A delicious fried rice dish with loads of veggies and flavour. Mongolian fried rice is a recipe of Mongolian cuisine. Mongolian cuisine refers to the local traditions of Mongolia. The extreme continental climate has affected the traditional diet of Mongolia, so the cuisine of Mongolia primarily consist of meats and animal fats. Fried rice is basically originated from China but due to the geographic proximity and deep historic ties with China, Mongolian cuisine is also influenced by Chinese cuisine. You can find the both Mongolian veg fried rice and Mongolian non-veg fried rice in almost every restaurant. You can also prepare it at your home. For Mongolian veg fried rice take a pan, add butter or oil to it, then add chopped ginger and garlic and saute them. Now add the vegetables like broccoli, baby corn, capsicum, red cabbage and carrots, then fry them on the low flame till they become tender. Now add the fried cheese and cooked rice and stir , fry them along with the vegetables. Add the hoisin sauce, salt, chilli paste and tomato ketchup. Mix them well and check the seasoning. And if you want to prepare a Mongolian non-veg fried rice then add meat or prawn or chicken in the place of vegetables. For the better taste try to serve this recipe hot.
